Your Perfect Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Zodiac Sign
This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement within the community. Starting with the gradual reveal of fresh additions before the title's release, to players forming firm views on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.
Given numerous of the Super Forms showcasing distinctive designs that emphasize their personalities, one idea came to mind: How can connect this with astrology? The following is inspired by a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
Aries – Mega Camerupt
Honestly, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being fun, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why Aries far more akin to Super Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Remain on the friendly side of either and benefit from a strong ally; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.
Taurus – Mega Heracross
Similar to a devoted Bull, the steadfast Heracross, both in its standard and Super Form, has aided numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the Pokémon and a Bull are also battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position to the end. The thing about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed passion for snacks. Many past Pokédex entries note their fondness for sweet tree sap and how it uses its horn to collect it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.
The Twins – Super Medicham
Observe this absolute royalty. It's impossible to convince me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, providing an endless fountain of gossip to those who wish to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly simple to envision Mega Medicham captivating an entire open area with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to predict an enemy’s next moves, which seems quite like a socially-savvy Gemini.
The Crab – Super Manectric
The Crab is commonly considered as the most sensitive member of the zodiac, a passionate symbol famous for often becoming absorbed in their feelings. According to the official info, Super Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to fully manage,” which sounds a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its capability to make a thundercloud over its very self – and if there’s one thing a Crab is likely to do, it’s spoil their own parade.
Leo – Super Starmie
Oh, did you assume I was going to pick Pyroar for the king of the stars? Besides the fact that it would be much too obvious, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Players were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the same energy a Leo brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into space, and it’s typical of a Leo to be putting on a performance, even if for aliens.
Virgo – Mega Victreebel
The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly critical is clearly mirrored across this creature's entire lineage, from a always shocked expression like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” instead of making a strategy.
Libra – Super Audino
Look at this sweet, sensitive being, who employs the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably benefit from Super Audino's abilities. However, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress even more about everyone else.
The Scorpion – Super Banette
Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Discarded as a doll, it became consciousness through sheer resentment and swore retribution on its former owner. According to the official info, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.
The Archer – Super Hawlucha
Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly staging a performance. As a Sagittarius myself, the amount of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer counterpart I can think of.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to foresee calamities in advance? That exudes the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re right. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.
The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure
Aloof element Aquarius is possibly the non-fire placement that is most like a fire sign – its counterpart is Leo, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable partners in crime. Super Chandelure's double Spirit/Flame typing fits perfectly with this, and the Mega’s overall daunting presence is also extremely Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Mega’s description says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into power.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
