England footballer Michelle Agyemang, darts sensation Luke Littler and cricketer Davina Perrin have been named as finalists for the 2025 Young Sports Personality of the Year award.

The three finalists have been celebrated for their outstanding achievements over the previous year.

Agyemang was instrumental as the Lionesses claim victory in Euro 2025, Littler won the world title for the maiden time, and Perrin burst onto the scene with a unprecedented innings.

Littler won the award in 2024 after his breakthrough year.

The three contenders were unveiled on a national radio breakfast show.

This year's winner will be unveiled on the prestigious sports ceremony show on December 18th.

The ceremony will be televised from 19:00 GMT.

The Football Star

Age: 19 Sport: Football

Only 90 days after her first cap for her country, Agyemang played a dramatic and decisive role in England's run to Euro 2025 glory.

She came off the bench to score key tying goals in both the last eight and last four matches.

Agyemang's stunning interventions led to her being named the best young player at the Euros.

Afterwards, she was awarded the Golden Girl award for the finest emerging star on the continent.

She was also shortlisted for the Kopa Trophy for the planet's top young female footballer.

Agyemang, who has been playing for Brighton on loan from Arsenal, suffered an ACL injury in October.

"Being on the shortlist for this award is incredible," said Agyemang. "Thank you to God and I'm grateful for the support I've received from my inner circle and supporters."

Luke Littler

Age: 18 Sport: Darts

Littler's 2025 began in incredible form as - aged 17 - he became the most youthful world title winner in history.

He secured a dominant victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final.

His later win at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth individual to complete the prestigious PDC Triple Crown.

And he wasn't finished there - his triumph in November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he reached world number one for the very first time.

At 18, he is the earliest achiever to do so, shattering the previous record.

"To receive a nomination for this award again is a massive accolade," stated Littler. "Winning last year was a highlight for me and I've had another incredible 12 months. I want to continue promoting darts."

The Cricket Sensation

Age: 19 Sport: Cricket

Perrin is one of English cricket's most exciting young talents and burst into the spotlight with an unbelievable and unprecedented innings in August.

Her brilliant 42-ball century in The Hundred is the quickest ever by an English female in T20s.

It also stands as the joint third-fastest women's T20 century in a premier tournament.

Perrin ended up as runner-up in the run-scoring charts and was named the Professional Cricketers' Association's top young women's player.

"I'm incredibly grateful to be nominated for the young athlete award," expressed Perrin. "It's a very special feeling. I hope it motivates more young females to get into cricket."
